A winter walk in Wimbledon Park

If you enjoyed this, please like or share. Thank you!

It snowed in London a few days ago, not something that happens very often. London is so pretty under a white coat of snow! Now it probably won’t snow again for the next few years…

Today’s Wimbledon Park is what remains of a much larger park, originally landscaped by legendary Victorian landscape gardener Capability Brown. Under ice and snow, the magnificent lake at the heart of the park (a feature of the original design) was breathtaking, although the ducks and swans looked rather forlorn. There’s a video at the end, if you’d rather watch that, or you can go to YouTube directly to watch it.

Psst… You might also be interested in my Autumn walk in Hyde Park?

Everything you read (and see) on this site is by me, Emma Duchat—unless I clearly say otherwise. I’ve lived in London most of my life and never seem to run out of things to explore. I walk the walk (literally), take the photos, and research and write every post. Come say hi on Instagram, too!
